Sylvia Fan is an intern in the Mitacs program. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research on bacterial infectious diseases. She is very interested in preeclampsia and healthy pregnancies, and during her internship, she will begin a meta-analysis of DNA methylation data between preeclampsia and healthy pregnancies. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, and appreciating natural scenery.
